[ESO] Catching up with ESO
Well… catching YOU up, that is. I’ve played it every day since my last post on it, it’s just that I’m in the same place that Pitrelli is: I’m enjoying it, but since it’s “just another themepark” and I don’t want to spoil the quest stories that I’m REALLY enjoying in the Daggerfall Covenant while playing my melee sorcerer…. what to say? That’s why the past few posts have been mostly just screenshot dumps and why this one will be too. . . .
That said, the progress report is: Dragonknight is still VR1. A touch over halfway to VR2. Finished Stros M’Kai and Betnikh, and is maybe 1/3 of the way done with Glenumbra. I expect I’ll be VR2 well before I finish Glenumbra, but since I’m currently playing my sorcerer through the DC faction and then intend to play my Alderi Dominion Templar through there, it’s will be a while before I really focus on this character again.
The sorcerer is as of last night level 41. I completed the Fighter’s Guild at level 38, so that lovely Prismatic weapon is sitting in my inventory waiting for level 43 to roll around. I did the Mage’s Guild last night at the tail end of 40. I chose again to leave the girl insane and get the book that’s good for 2 skill points, but I can’t read it until I hit 43 either. Oh well. Now I know that even though I can do the quests before 43 that there’s not much point to jumping the gun on them either. Tonight’s plan is to do the level 35 main story quest. This is the one where you have the waves of undead that spawn on you and ignore the NPC companions, so you die a lot, so I’ve been waiting on it. This sorcerer is more survivable than the DK was (and I did it with her at 40, even) so going in prepared as I am, we’ll see how I do.
And now for the screenshot dump. As always, beware of spoilers:
